I'm a beginner on Topcoder and I was thinking on how topcoder could help someone accomplish some objectives like: getting a better job, increasing your confidence on your own programming skills and etc

So, that's the question: how Topcoder helped you to accomplish your objectives?

I think it will be great for beginners (like me!) to see some interesting stories.
