Problems of the Month - May'21

This month we asked our veteran problem writer and coordinator @misof to come up with a problem statement that must go into the problem of the month lists. He came up with - TransposeColors :

In misof's words "It's easy to state, it's approachable because you don't need almost any prerequisite algorithm knowledge, but it's not a giveaway, you need to put in some work to get the details of the solution right. And there is also a connection to graph theory that can be used to get a simple solution"

The problem had a low acceptance rate so suitable for Problem of the month. Also, it was attractive for me, personally. Also, the problem doesn’t need any special prerequisite so it makes it easy for everyone to think on and learn.

He also mentioned SudokuTypo as a very easy problem that still has the property "the more you think about it, the less code you have to write", and SevenSegmentDisplayNim as a hard problem that turns out to have a nice simple pattern in its solution.
